TQC 2012 Submission Policy

Simultaneous submission

We do not permit manuscripts under review for the TQC 2012 conference to be simultaneously under review for another conference or a journal. Here under review means a manuscript that has been submitted, and has not been either withdrawn or rejected and pertains to the reviewing period of the conference.

Journal Publication

Authors may submit an extended version of a paper that appeared in the proceedings of TQC'12 to a journal later on, provided that:

The paper has been substantially revised (this generally means that at least 25% of the paper is material not previously published; however, this is a somewhat subjective requirement that is left up to the discretion of each journal's editors).
Upon submission, the author notifies the editor in charge that the paper has been previously published or simultaneously submitted.
The published policies of the publications or conferences involved do not prohibit this.
